Artist Statement

Art is my loudest voice, my most powerful tool for change. Through bold marks and vivid color, I channel the raw energy of the world around me—creating works that are as unapologetic as they are transformative. My mediums of choice, oil pastel and oil paint, allow me to move freely between fluidity and intensity, building layers that speak to both the delicate and the untamed forces of nature. In every stroke, I seek to ignite emotion, provoke thought, and spark action.

My work is deeply intertwined with the belief that art has the ability to heal and inspire. By partnering with non-profit organizations focused on land conservation and animal rescue, I’ve witnessed firsthand how art can become a catalyst for change. Each piece I create is an opportunity to contribute, not just aesthetically, but meaningfully—to raise awareness and funds for causes that reflect my passion for protecting our planet and its creatures.

Nature is my greatest muse. Through oil pastels and oil paints, I build worlds of texture and light, exploring the rich landscapes of the natural world—both seen and unseen. I celebrate the strength of wild animals, the quiet power of the earth, and the intricate interplay between humanity and the environment. The bold, saturated colors and dynamic forms in my work are not just expressions of beauty; they are calls to action, invitations to stand alongside these causes and take part in preserving what we love.

As a teacher, I empower others to embrace their own creativity, to make their mark on the world with the same boldness and authenticity that I strive for in my own practice. Art is a shared language—one that transcends boundaries and inspires connection. My workshops are designed to help individuals unlock their inner potential, to build confidence, and to create without hesitation.

For me, art is not passive. It is a force that moves and transforms. It is my mission to use it to amplify the voices of those who cannot speak for themselves—whether through the rescue of animals, the preservation of wild spaces, or the cultivation of a creative community. In every piece I make, I seek to leave a lasting imprint—a reminder that we all have the power to create, to heal, and to change the world.
